Welcome to the new, scratch version of DrewJenkinson.com. I have been letting this site simmer in the corner for months… and not much has happened. BUT I wanted to get something up (there are several other pages that are almost finished, but not visible to the public).

So anyways, this is new. Blogging for personal purposes. If you did not know, I blog about entertainment at www.iamdrewjenkinson.com. This is different though. This is my MUSIC page. Regardless, let’s get down to business.

Changes in 2010:

• Free is the new black. This year, most of the material that I produce will be free.
• Better videos. Glimpse of Chances is an example of a high quality video. There will be more of those.
• Blogs. you can already see that I’m blogging here.
• Live Shows? If not a lot more often, I am confident that I will at least play a few live shows this year.
• Production. I have already been the recording engineer for the new “Lady Palms” ep. I have a couple new projects in the works. So… I will be getting my hands into other people’s music.

Lastly, I must address a question that I have been getting a lot lately: “What’s up with all of your facebook and twitter statuses? Did you get discovered something?”

—- No, no. When I say “I don’t think I deserve the things that are coming my way.” I just mean that I am grateful for everyone’s support——ok, so that was a joke. Although, I really am so grateful for everyone’s  support.

The truth is, I have stopped with those statuses. They were a way for me to vent out some of the things I am going through. I can not talk about the specifics of the situation but I can tell you that I believe it to be flattering and positive. However, I am carefully considering my options and still haven’t decided to go forward with anything. I will release all of the information when final decisions have been made.
